Important Race Day Information
RACE DAY
Registration and packets for those pre-registered will be at the Registration Tent next to the Gazebo at the corner of Cape Fear Blvd. and Canal St. in Carolina Beach and will begin at 7:15 am. We ask that every race participant be at the registration area no later than 8:15am. We recommend you bring your PayPal receipt or race confirmation e-mail if you are pre-registered. Remember you can pick up your race packet on Friday at Omega Sports and be ready to run on the morning of the race.
Rooms are available at Golden Sands Motel for $69 per night (ocean front). Call 1.888.458.8334 for reservations.
One and two bedroom suites are available for a discount at Cabana Suites. Call 800.333.8499 for reservations.
Pick up packets from the pre-registration table at least 45 minutes prior to the race. The packet will include:
- Tee shirt
- Items from sponsors
- Race bib and timing tag
* We cannot guarantee tee shirts if registered after March 5th. *
There will be live music at the Gazebo. We will also have light food and drinks for race participants and a raffle. Some of the Downtown restaurants, bars, businesses, etc will be open… so plan to enjoy the afternoon at beautiful Carolina Beach.
